, looking for a

Planning Engineer

proficient in

Primavera P6

software plays a vital role in the successful execution of construction, engineering, and other project-based work and responsible for project scheduling, coordination, and ensuring timely approvals from

local authorities

(such as Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and DMCC), at least 5Years of work experience in the UAE in the same field.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project schedules using

Primavera P6

based on the project's scope and requirements. Align project timelines with authority submission and approval processes Track the project's progress against the baseline schedule and prepare reports on key metrics Identify critical activities and potential delays due to authority approvals Report on the status of project timelines, resource utilization, and cost implications. Identify potential resource shortages or conflicts and address them proactively. Coordinate with various teams, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and timely execution Maintain and update all project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and risk assessments.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields and Strong knowledge of

UAE local authority regulations and approval processes

Software Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of

Primavera P6

is essential. Familiarity with other project management software.

Experience:

Typically, 5-6 years of experience in a project planning or scheduling role within industries such as construction or engineering.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and liaising with team members and stakeholders.

Attention to Detail:

Ensuring accuracy in planning, scheduling, and reporting to avoid potential delays or cost overruns.
