We are seeking a motivated and experienced Planning & Cost Control Engineer to ensure efficient planning, monitoring, and controlling of project costs to meet our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply technical knowledge in project management and planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with milestones and deliverables.
• Analyze project cost data, provide forecasts, and propose corrective actions for variances.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure clarity on project scope and timelines.
• Utilize advanced scheduling software to create visual representations of project timelines and progress.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing project status and performance metrics.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for schedule and budget uncertainties.
• Facilitate regular project meetings to address progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Monitor resource allocation and productivity to ensure optimal use of manpower and materials.
• Implement best practices in cost control and scheduling methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends, continuously improving planning and cost management processes.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in project planning, monitoring, and controlling.
• Expertise in cost management and earned value calculations.
• Experience in tracking and reporting project progress.
• Technical knowledge in preparing project balance sheets to control costs.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with a strong analytical focus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and cost control in construction or engineering sectors.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Cost Engineering (CCE) is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience managing budgets and understanding financial statements.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, with resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
