We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Placement Officer to join our team. The Placement Officer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with employers to facilitate the placement of our students into internships and employment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts in the industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed in their careers. Location: Ras Al KhaimahResponsibilities: 1. Develop, manage, and oversee job placement and work-based learning programs for students, including assessments, coaching, and training. 2. Provide direct support to students, offering guidance on job requirements, market trends, professional conduct, and job application strategies. 3. Advise students on preparing for employment. 4. Connect students with employers by arranging interviews, matching them with internships, and assisting with job placements. 5. Collaborate with career guidance staff to set student goals and assess their readiness for employment. 6. Deliver informative presentations to students and share job placement information with employers and community representatives. 7. Design and implement student recruitment strategies for job placement activities. 8. Support students in participating in job placement activities, including handling documentation, transportation, and communication with employers. 9. Act as a liaison between the college, employers, and the community, ensuring compliance with administrative requirements and fostering partnerships with other campus programs. 10. Develop and execute marketing plans to promote job placement and work-based learning opportunities. 11. Utilize technology to promote job placement and work-based learning and maintain work-based learning/job placement website and social media platforms and supports the piloting and implementation of new technology, as needed. 12. Access occupational and labor market data to provide students with information on in-demand careers, employment trends, and employer requirements. 13. Ensure compliance with regulations and institutional reporting requirements. 14. Fulfill any additional duties as assigned. Qualification : 1. Minimum 2 years of experience as placement officer 2. Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field preferred, with relevant experience 3. Strong communication skills essential for effective interaction with students and stakeholders . 4. Understanding of job market trends and industry requirements necessary. 5. Ability to provide counseling and coaching to support student job readiness. 6. Proficiency in organization and technology crucial for program management. 7. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) 8.
