Clifford Chance is a place where the brightest minds and the best of colleagues meet The RoleThe Pitch Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the C&MD function provides a word class service of pitches across the Middle East region for the firm. The remit is to be responsible for the output and delivery of pitches for the Middle East region and to utilise the global standardised of tools, techniques and infrastructure for pitch output.Key Responsibilities

• Analysing incoming pitch opportunities and being a trusted advisor in proposing go or no-go decisions to Partners.
• Providing support and project management on a portfolio of pitches (including strategic planning, pricing, preparation of documents, rehearsals and presentations and post tender review)
• Leading meetings, agreeing strategy and messaging, drafting and reviewing content from a marketing perspective.
• Keeping colleagues up to date on proposals trends and approaches being used in the market and in Clifford Chance globally.
• Creating and maintaining a central library of pitch content which can be accessed by the wider C&MD teams across the firm.
• Holding accountability for the tracking and metrics of all proposal and tender opportunities, including monitoring and analysis of all bid outcomes.
• Playing an active role in obtaining post-pitch feedback from clients and also facilitate internal pitch debriefs.
• Assisting in the development of first-class proposals best practice and delivery to the practice area and regional team.
• Bringing innovation and new ideas to proposals.

QualificationsYour experienceThe successful candidate should have:

• Extensive experience of working on competitive proposals and pitches ideally within the professional services market.
• Proven ability to manage multiple pitches to a high quality within a tight timeframe.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and leadership skills are also a must as you will be presenting to and influencing senior partners daily.
• Strong relationship building skills to liaise with internal stakeholders, advising and guiding them through the bids and pitch process.
• Strong project management skills (in order to manage of multiple projects/tasks at the same time).
• A high level of reliance; ability to cope under pressure.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc), and ideally some exposure to information various databases used in the role such as Mergermarket, Foundation or IJ Global.
• Strong interpersonal, inter-cultural understanding and communications skills.
• Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Native level of English or be able to speak and write English to an equivalent standard.
• Native level of Arabic (ideal but not required).
• A college/university or higher level degree.
