Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Pipe Cutting & Shaping : Measure, cut, and shape pipes using hand tools, machines, or welding equipment.
• Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine pipe lengths, angles, and joint configurations.
• Welding and Joining : Weld, solder, and assemble pipes using methods like MIG, TIG, or stick welding. Ensure proper fitting and alignment of pipes.
• Fabrication of Supports and Hangers : Build and install supports, brackets, and hangers for piping systems as required.
• Installation : Assist in the installation of fabricated piping systems on job sites, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
• Inspection and Quality Control : Inspect finished work for defects, such as leaks or cracks, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintenance of Tools and Equipment : Maintain and ensure safe operation of tools, equipment, and machinery used in the fabrication process.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues.
• Material Handling : Select, store, and handle materials, such as pipes, fittings, and welding supplies.
• Collaboration : Work with other tradespeople, including welders, pipe fitters, and construction workers, to ensure efficient project completion.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Experience : Proven experience as a pipe fabricator, pipe welder, or similar role in industrial or construction settings.
• Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of welding techniques, pipe fitting, blueprint reading, and fabrication methods.
• Physical Stamina : Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
• Attention to Detail : High attention to precision and detail, ensuring all dimensions and specifications are met.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify and solve issues related to fabrication, assembly, or installation.
• Safety Awareness : Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) and pipe fabrication may be required or preferred.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a similar position within in UAE, or any GCC countries.

Preferably High school degree or any related professional qualification in a similar field.
