Key Responsibility Areas \xc2\xb7 Drives a low-capacity truck/van/car primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise to deliver packages or transport passengers within a specified area \xc2\xb7 Drives multi passenger vehicles to transport passengers between neighborhoods, offices, and airports. \xc2\xb7 Checks the conditions of the vehicle\xe2\x80\x99s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuels, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order. \xc2\xb7 Complies with traffic regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner. \xc2\xb7 Follows safety rules for the safety of the passengers. \xc2\xb7 Picks up and drops off employees/workers at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations, follow strict time schedules. \xc2\xb7 Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort. Keeps vehicles interiors clean for passengers. \xc2\xb7 Maintains knowledge of first aid procedures. \xc2\xb7 Maintains order among passengers during trips in order to ensure safety. \xc2\xb7 Prepares and submits reports that may include the number of passenger or trips, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, and/or fares received. \xc2\xb7 Reports any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs. \xc2\xb7 Reports delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
