Job Description

Work with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, neuromuscular, cardiovascular and respiratory.

Diagnose, assess and treat their physical condition.

Develop and review treatment programs that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques.

Involve parents and carers in the treatment, review and rehabilitation of patients.

Educate patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions.

Write patient case notes and reports and collect statistics.

Liaise with the Head of the department, to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention.

Responsible for regular risk assessment of both environment and working practice to maintain safety of self and others, adhering to the standards required.

Determine Clinical diagnosis and provide Physiotherapy treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate packages of care, giving clinical / professional advice to patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals.

To carry out other duties that may be required by management and that fall within the post holders' capabilities.

To facilitate effective communication within the Physiotherapy Department.

To play an active role in the operational, strategic management and development of the physiotherapy service.

To ensure data collection and analysis to reflect the full extent of the physiotherapy service while monitoring activity, standards and outcomes.

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
