Overview Facility Overview: Mubadala Health Dubai provides multidisciplinary medical, pediatric, and surgical specialties. Our state-of-the-art facility houses 96 consultation rooms, 5 operating rooms, and 2 endoscopy suites, as well as an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, a radiology department, dedicated rehabilitation gyms, and dedicated procedure rooms, all of which offer a full continuum of care to our patients as they navigate through their healthcare journey. Job Overview: This role is responsible for evaluating patients referred to physiotherapy, organizing and implementing individualized therapeutic programs and monitoring the patients progress and response to treatment. This role would include the ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge and understanding that is relevant to their area of practice and underpins their individual scope of practice, recognize their role and responsibilities within the patients plan of care, and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology, evidence-based practice, and physiotherapy practice of service users through the life span. This role is responsible to operate in line with M42 and Dubai Health Authority policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations, diagnose physiological and psychological conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Design, implement, and adjust physiotherapy treatments to support pain management, mobility restoration, and functional independence. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies to enhance recovery and promote long-term well-being. Use standardized outcome measures to track patient progress, modify interventions, and optimize rehabilitation outcomes. Conduct ongoing risk assessments, ensuring therapy sessions are safe, effective, and aligned with best clinical practices. Work closely with doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to ensure a holistic, patient-centered approach to recovery. Maintain accurate patient records, manage administrative tasks, and ensure insurance and billing compliance in line with healthcare regulations. Monitor and maintain physiotherapy equipment, assist with stock requisitions, and ensure rehabilitation resources are readily available for optimal patient care. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy / Physical Therapy or Direct entry of a recognized program
with attainment of MSc degree in Physiotherapy * Minimum of 2 years of experience post qualification in the physiotherapy and rehabilitation field
Completion of specialty qualification as per the recognized specialty certificate (Dubai Health Authority guidelines)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, neurological physiotherapy, paediatric physiotherapy and pre and post-operative rehabilitation, relevant procedures and current best practices
