Diagnose, assess and treat the patient\'s physical problem/conditions.
Educate patients and their careers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions.
Liaise with other health care professionals, such as GPs, occupational therapists to exchange information about and the progress of the patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention.
Keep up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients
Advising and performing circulatory exercises and deep breathing exercises
Following post op elective cases of early ambulation according to appropriate policy and procedures.
Performing chest physiotherapy when referred by doctor
Advising multi-disciplinary team on means of transferring admitted patients safely.
Updating the records of treatment on daily basis.
Advising and consulting members of staff regarding queries in non-routine ambulation
Liaising with the consultant regarding post op care of patient
Supervising physiotherapy treatment in non-routine or difficult cases
Assessing inpatient and devising an appropriate treatment plan
Determining number of sessions to be done per patient on an inpatient basis
Ensuring standards of care and treatments
Maintaining a standardized treatment with the appropriate modalities for the condition
Assessing patient condition and administering appropriate physiotherapy treatment
Liaising with supervisor should there be any query regarding condition or treatment of patient
Supervising time allocation per patient
Keeping up to date with equipment and supplies ensuring that everything is in order
Maintaining appropriate care and maintenance of equipment
Evaluating competencies and devising training
Updating records and statistics on daily basis.

Qualifications:
Graduate of BSc in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy.
Direct entry of the recognized program with attainment of a MSc degree in Physiotherapy.
Minimum for (2) two years\' experience post qualification in related field.
