Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students for secondary grades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and creative lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and school standards.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, including differentiated instruction, to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and encourages critical thinking.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the overall school community by participating in extracurricular activities (optional).

Qualifications:

• Essential:
• Bachelor's Degree in English Language and/or Literature.
• OR Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience with a PGCE.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using technology in education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience teaching year 10,11,12 IGCSE,AS,A LEVEL

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
