Job Description

The PHP Developer is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems. The PHP Developer is involved in all areas of development as well supporting end users. The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, debug and maintain business applications.
• Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
• Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Package and support deployment of releases.
• Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.
• Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.
• Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
• Providing technical support to business users.
• Any other related tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Very well experienced in PHP.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Knowledge in JSON.
• Very good relational database skills with MySQL/MariaDB
• Working experience Windows/Apache.
• Knowledge of networking is a plus.
