Job Summary:



We are seeking a creative and skilled

Photographer & Videographer

with a strong background in

social media management

and experience working in a

school or special needs center

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality photos and videos that showcase the organization's activities, events, and learning environment. They will also manage and enhance the center's social media presence to engage the community effectively.

Key Responsibilities:



Photography & Videography:



Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of students, staff, and events while ensuring sensitivity and compliance with privacy policies. Document classroom activities, therapy sessions (with permission), special events, and other school/centre-related programs. Create engaging visual content to showcase the centre's mission, student progress, and community involvement. Maintain and organize a digital archive of photos and videos for internal and external use. Ensure all content aligns with the centre's branding, guidelines, and ethical standards.

Social Media Management:



Develop and maintain a social media content plan for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Post engaging and relevant content, including photos, videos, testimonials, and event highlights. Monitor engagement metrics and respond to inquiries, comments, and messages professionally. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to highlight success stories and educational initiatives. Stay updated with social media trends to enhance the centre's online presence.

General Responsibilities:



Work closely with the centre's administration, teachers, and marketing team to develop storytelling strategies. Ensure compliance with data protection and child safeguarding policies when capturing and sharing media. Manage photography and videography equipment and ensure proper maintenance. Assist with basic graphic design tasks for social media posts and promotional materials. Support event planning by coordinating media coverage and live streaming when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Proven experience as a Photographer & Videographer, preferably in a school, special needs center, or educational setting. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in photography, videography, and editing. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar tools. Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content. Knowledge of child protection policies and ethical considerations in capturing student images. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Familiarity with autism and special education environments is a plus.


Preferred Skills:



Graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software. Experience with live streaming and video marketing strategies. Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing for social media.
