As a Staff Photographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing the essence of our events, exhibitions, and the creative process within our studio. Your primary responsibilities will include photographing events, documenting workshops and lectures, Guest artists and their artwork, and showcasing the work of our in house produced products created in our studio by the Consultancy. The Staff Photographer will work collaboratively with the Marketing and Sales team to visually communicate the unique and inspiring aspects of Tashkeel\'s artistic endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture high-quality photographs of Tashkeel events, exhibitions, guests, artists, workshop leaders, and studio-produced artworks and products.
Document workshops, lectures, and all Tashkeel-related activities to create a comprehensive visual record.
Utilize studio lighting equipment effectively to ensure optimal lighting conditions for various photographic scenarios.
Demonstrate proficiency in design editing software to enhance and edit photographs for marketing and promotional purposes.
Utilize a variety of lenses and cameras to achieve desired photographic effects and compositions.
Take initiative in planning and executing photoshoots, ensuring coverage of all relevant subjects and moments.
Drive to photoshoot locations independently, ensuring timely arrival and preparedness for each assignment.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales team to align photographic content with promotional objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends and photography techniques to continually enhance the quality of Tashkeel\'s visual representation.
Ability to work with both manual and digital photography, with a preference for those who possess skills in both areas.
Create, organize and be responsible for the Tashkeel image archive. Organize folders according to dates, event name and ensure backups are made and images are archived safely and efficiently.
Organize release forms and ensure signatures of those photographed to be able to have to use people\'s portraits in different marketing platforms.
Staff photographer line manager is the Marketing Manager - working as part of the Marketing and Sales Team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably in the context of art events or studio environments.
Proficient in using studio lighting equipment and a variety of lenses and cameras.
Strong editing skills with experience using photo editing software\'s especially (Adobe Creative Suite).
Can be self-directed with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation to travel to various photoshoot locations.
Bonus: Experience in both manual photography with darkroom experience would be a plus and digital photography.
