Job Description

The Pharmacist Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between pharmaceutical products and healthcare providers. Combining pharmaceutical knowledge with sales expertise, this role focuses on building relationships with pharmacists, providing them with essential information about products, and driving sales within pharmacies. The position requires a deep understanding of pharmaceuticals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities:

• Product Promotion: Promote pharmaceutical products to pharmacists and doctors, emphasizing their features, benefits, and clinical data. Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the product's efficacy, safety, and usage guidelines.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with pharmacists and pharmacy staff through regular visits, effective communication, and professional interactions. Gain insights into their needs, preferences, and challenges to tailor product recommendations accordingly.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to assess product performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to pharmacists by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions to enhance their experience with the products. Collaborate with internal teams, including medical affairs and marketing, to address customer needs effectively.
• Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines governing the pharmaceutical industry, including MOH regulations and industry standards. Ensure that all promotional activities and interactions with pharmacists comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Sales Planning and Execution: Develop strategic sales plans and objectives with the sales team and management. Implement sales tactics, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs to drive product adoption and achieve sales targets.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights. Prepare regular reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product sales or marketing, preferably within the pharmaceutical products industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the benefits of our surgical products to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
• Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, as well as conducting market research and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks:
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• A thorough understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and closing techniques.
• Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel as needed.
