Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing clinical advice to patients, and maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Medication Management:
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and storage.
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
• Patient Care:
• Provide expert advice on over-the-counter medications and general health concerns.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including pharmacy board and federal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and patient interactions.
• Conduct regular audits and inventory checks to prevent discrepancies.
• Clinical Services:
• Administer vaccinations and other clinical services as required.
• Monitor patient outcomes and report adverse reactions to medications.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
• Operational Duties:
• Manage the pharmacy inventory, including ordering and restocking medications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist DHA license.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist in a retail or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in immunization delivery.
• Experience with patient counseling and disease management programs.
• Additional certifications relevant to pharmacy practice (e.g., Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Geriatric Pharmacist).
Working Conditions:
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in a retail or clinical pharmacy environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
