The pharmacist may perform on shift and is expected to be on call for emergencies as required.
Provides work direction and supervises assistant pharmacists and related staff.
A licensed pharmacist is delegated to manage and supervise the pharmacy, overseeing technical and managerial issues during assigned working hours.
Duties include:
Checking all aspects of prescriptions, clarifying doubts with physicians and insurance (if any), and dispensing medication to patients after clarifying their inquiries and providing counseling.
Dispensing controlled and semi-controlled medication and registering them as per HAAD rules and regulations.
Spontaneous dispensing of some medications.
Advising physicians on equivalents/substitutes and helping to control drug usage when needed.
Ensuring the quality of established pharmaceutical indicators.
Strictly observing the organization\'s medical regulations and policies related to infection control, patient safety, patient assessment, and patient care.
Ensuring compliance with all laws, circulars, and regulations related to the pharmacy profession.
Carrying out all other assignments given by the chief pharmacist and department head.

Qualifications:
holds an accredited recognized B.Sc. in pharmacy.
Holds a current and valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Home Country.
Have a HAAD License to practice in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
2 years experience in acute care facility.
Excellent command of oral and written English/ Arabic
