Job Title: Perfume Mixer/Perfumer

We are seeking a skilled and creative Perfume Mixer/Perfumer to join our team. As a Perfume Mixer, you will be responsible for crafting unique and high-quality fragrances that captivate the senses and meet the needs of our clientele. Your primary duties will include:

1. Formulating new perfume recipes and blends based on client preferences, market trends, and brand identity.

2. Conducting thorough research on raw materials, essential oils, and aroma compounds to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness of fragrances.

3. Collaborating with marketing and product development teams to create fragrances that align with brand strategies and target demographics.

4. Experimenting with different scent combinations and concentrations to achieve desired fragrance profiles and longevity.

5. Conducting sensory evaluations and quality control tests to assess the performance and stability of perfume formulations.

6. Maintaining accurate records of perfume recipes, ingredient sourcing, and production processes.

7. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards regarding fragrance ingredients and manufacturing practices.

8. Providing expertise and guidance on fragrance trends, market insights, and competitive landscape to support business decision-making.

Qualifications:

1. Advanced degrees or certifications in Perfumery are preferred.

2. Proven experience as a Perfume Mixer, Perfumer, or similar role in the fragrance industry.

3. In-depth knowledge of perfume formulation techniques, aroma chemistry, and raw materials sourcing.

4. Strong olfactory sensitivity and a passion for creating captivating fragrances.

5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in evaluating scent compositions and product quality.

6. Creative flair and ability to innovate while adhering to brand guidelines and market demands.

7. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.

8. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for fragrance labeling, safety assessments, and compliance documentation.
