PERFUME MIXING OPERATOR

Purpose of this role:

To handle the precise mixing of raw materials and fragrances according to specified formulations, ensuring the production of high-quality perfumes while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

• Weigh and measure raw materials and fragrances accurately as per the formula.
• Operate mixing and blending equipment effectively, ensuring no deviations from the specified process.
• Maintain strict adherence to batch instructions and formulations.
• Perform in-process checks to ensure consistency and quality of the product.
• Report any deviations or abnormalities in the process immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensure all materials used comply with the required quality standards.
• Follow all safety guidelines, wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols in the workplace.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials as per company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of batch production, materials used, and quality checks performed.
• Log all issues and downtime for process improvement analysis.
• Clean and maintain mixing and blending equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly.
• Work closely with the Production Supervisor, Quality Control team, and other operators to meet production targets.
• Assist in training new operators as required.

Qualifications

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma in chemical or industrial operations is a plus.
• Experience :
• 5-10 years of experience in mixing operations, preferably in the fragrance
• Knowledge of perfume blending is an added advantage.
