SynopsisTo provide technical expertise, vital information, and support in all Aircraft Performance Engineering aspects to achieve safe, cost-effective, and efficient operations of Etihad Airways aircraft.Accountabilities
Conduct Take-off and Landing analysis and optimize performance limited weights at every airport in Etihads network.
Evaluate, assess, and validate aircraft performance data of new and existing aircraft types and issue technical operational data and ensure flight crews use up-to-date data for Take-off, enroute and Landing.
Manage airport database updates regularly and administer performance loads in all Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) platforms.
Validate obstacles, assess NOTAMS, and design engine-out procedures to enhance flight safety.
Ensure regulatory compliance related to aircraft performance, interpret & reflect manufacturers data, and regulatory material in company documentation.
Conduct initial & recurrent Performance training to Flight Dispatchers and relevant ground staff.
Provide support to Flight Operations and other relevant departments on aircraft performance-related operational data.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent aviation qualification.
Minimum 3 years experience in Aircraft Performance Engineering and Flight Operations is required.
Proficient in data analysis - Excel and power BI (similar tools)
Should have attended an aircraft performance training from Airbus and/or Boeing.
Hands-on with Fly smart, OPT, PET/PEP tool
