Job Summary
PwC Middle East is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Director in Workforce Transformation focusing on the Power and Utilities, and wider Energy
Sector.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Power and Utilities and wider Energy Sector and how the trends such as the Energy Transition, Regulatory Reform,
Corporatisation are influencing and impacting the people agenda and shaping the future of the sector.
Specifically, the candidate will be able to solve sector, organizational and workforce challenges including creating new operating models and organisation design, leading and delivering
change and transformation solutions, creating workforce optimization strategies, building learning and development solutions and introducing technology enabled solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Director, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to
execution. Specific responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
• Lead and oversee end-to-end transformation projects/ initiatives for clients within the power and utilities and energy sector, focusing on optimizing both workforce capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies addressing workforce dynamics and operational efficiencies required to meet the evolving needs and challenges of the industry.
• Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients on organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that drive business performance and agility.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of workforce and operational data specific to the sector to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and optimization tailored to the unique challenges of the energy and power and utilities sector.
• Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new workforce strategies and initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in workforce and operational management and transformation.
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Skills and Competencies
• Proven track record of success in leading workforce transformation projects within a consulting environment, preferably with one of the Big 4 firms or a global strategy house.
• Demonstrable sector knowledge covering Power, Utilities, Oil and Gas, and Waste Management.
• Deep understanding of workforce strategies, organizational design principles, and talent management practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate workforce data into actionable insightsand recommendations, including demonstrable ability to work with visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
• Flexibility to travel as needed to client sites within the Middle East region.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
Education
: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant subject such as Business Administration, Strategy, or People related subjects. Years of Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess 12 to 14 years of relevant experience in organizational transformation and human capital management, with a specific
focus on energy, power, utilities, and related sectors. Of these, at least 7 years should have been acquired within a consulting environment, preferably with one of the Big 4 firms, HR
consulting companies, or a global strategy house.
