The people manager shall guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, programs, and Administration & PROs activities for the entire Company.

The client is a international retail business based in Abu Dhabi with global headquarters. The Overall responsibility of this role is to implement, update and ensure adherence of human resources and Administration policies and procedures.
Description
The Key responsibilities will have/be
Conduct a continuing study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments.
Lead the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
Develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the goals of the company.
Establish and lead the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
Maintain good relationships with the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration Authorities and coordinate the process of obtaining work permits / visas.
Formulate and recommend Human Resources policies and objectives for the company with regard to employee relations.
Employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
Monitor and advise managers in the discipline system of the company. Monitor the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.
Review, guide, and approve management recommendations for employment terminations.
Lead the implementation of company safety and health programs.
Profile
The successful candidate will have/be
\\[ HR degree or relevant qualification with 5+ years of experience in a fast paced environment
\\[ In-depth knowledge and experience of local governmental policy, regulations and labour laws
\\[ Proven experience of leading a team of HR professionals
\\[ Self-starter and comfortable working independently.
\\[ Excellent understanding of HR processes, systems and metrics.
\\[ Credibility, strong influencing and communication skills.
\\[ Good working knowledge of current employee legislation and HR policies and procedures.
