As the Regional People & Culture Director for the Middle East & Africa, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives. Reporting directly to the AMESA Head of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in driving employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development initiatives across diverse geographies and cultures.What You\'ll be Doing
Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy tailored to the specific needs and challenges of the Middle East & Africa region.
Lead the recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a workplace culture that celebrates differences and promotes belonging.
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to design and deliver innovative learning and development programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs to promote a positive work environment.
Partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps and develop strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while upholding the company's ethical standards and values.
Provide coaching and guidance to regional HR teams to build their capabilities and empower them to deliver exceptional HR services.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a multinational corporation operating in the Middle East & Africa region.
In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulations across the Middle East & Africa region.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated track record of driving organizational change and building high-performing teams in a diverse cultural environment.
Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the region is a plus.
Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD are highly desirable.
