Job Title: Pediatrician

Location: Consultants Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and caring Pediatrician to provide medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting children's health and well-being. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in a supportive and patient-focused environment. Preferred: Experience working with people of determination (children with special needs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general pediatric care, including physical examinations, vaccinations, and treatment for common childhood illnesses.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, from minor health problems to serious diseases.
• Monitor growth and development, ensuring early detection of potential health concerns.
• Advise parents on children's nutrition, safety, and overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Educate families about preventative care, lifestyle choices, and health maintenance for children.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in pediatric healthcare and apply evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatrics.
• Valid DHA/HAAD license or eligibility to practice as a Pediatrician in Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pediatric healthcare.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
