Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Neurologist to join our medical team. The Pediatric Neurologist will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing neurological conditions in children, including developmental disorders, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, migraines, and neurogenetic conditions. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation therapists, to provide comprehensive care tailored to each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis:

Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients with neurological symptoms and perform appropriate diagnostic tests, including EEGs, MRIs, and genetic testing, to diagnose conditions accurately.

Treatment Planning and Management:

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include medications, therapies, or lifestyle recommendations to manage neurological conditions and improve the quality of life.

Patient Monitoring and Follow-up:

Regularly monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and providing follow-up care to track long-term outcomes.

Family and Caregiver Education:

Educate families and caregivers about the child's condition, treatment options, and strategies to manage symptoms, providing compassionate support and clear communication.

Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals:

Work in collaboration with a team of healthcare providers to coordinate care, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists.

Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain detailed, accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Research and Professional Development:

Stay current with the latest research and advancements in pediatric neurology, participating in professional development, continuing education, and conferences as appropriate.

Emergency Care:

Provide on-call support as needed to address urgent neurological issues that may arise.
