The British School Al Khubairat is looking to employ a full-time PE Teacher, to commence September 2025. Due to timetabling requirements and cultural sensitivities this position will have to be filled by a male candidate.



BSAK is rated 'Outstanding' across all performance standards in both our local Government Agency inspection (ADEK) and that of British Schools Overseas (BSO). In 2023, the School was awarded five awards in the Schools Compared.com 'Top School Awards' - Overall Best School in the UAE, Best British Curriculum, Best School for Sport, Best Fine Art and Best Principal. The School is also the first outside of the UK to receive the Carnegie Gold Award for Mental Health.



The successful candidate will be a UK qualified teacher with either a Bachelor of Education degree or a subject related degree plus a PGCE qualification. The ability to coach one of our core sports of football, rugby, swimming or athletics to a high level is desirable.



The successful candidate will be joining our friendly, supportive and hard-working Physical Education Department. BSAK is proud to offer an extensive extra-curricular programme which participates in an array of sporting competition across the Middle-East. We are looking for someone to give their time and energy to this provision.
