The school a vibrant community.This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family of schools and to help shape the future of Abu Dhabi\'s leading school group.The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.Purpose:Assist the PE team in delivering and facilitating PE lessons and activities that promotes students\' overall mental well-being and physical development.Key duties include:1. Provide support for individual pupils / groups of pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in a range of activities during the school day and to provide for their social, emotional, and physical well-being. 2. Be pro-active in matters relating to health and safety. 3. Assist in the implementation of ECAs and PE lessons for individual pupils / groups of pupils and help monitor their progress. 4. Support pupils with additional support needs. 5. Assist PE class teachers with delivering enjoyable and creative PE lessons and co-curricular activities (CCA) that both challenges pupils and promotes physical and mental well-being. 6. Support the aims of the school; comply with the requirements of health and safety, other relevant legislation, and school policies. 7. Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance. 8. Attend team and staff meetings as required. 9. Prepare materials, equipments and resources as required to facilitate effective learning. 10. To help promote independent learning and build pupils\' motivation and self esteem. 11. Work with other professional\'s e.g. speech therapists, occupational therapists etc. as necessary to support effective delivery of PE lessons. 12. Giving group instruction as prescribed by the teacher/providing individual instruction. 13. Demonstrating various instructional activities to aid in learning. 14. Assisting PE class teacher (s) in monitoring and keeping pupils on task. 15. Praising and reinforcing achievements of pupils/reporting pupil progress to teacher. 16. Reorganising PE equipment and materials at the end of the day. 17. Supervising pupils in the school and other locations outside the school during PE events. 18. Disciplining misbehaviour in line with the whole school policy. 19. Undertake other duties from time to time within reasonable remit of the role.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications: To have a minimum secondary school certificate. Additional certifications/qualifications in PE (swimming, sports coaching etc,) desired.Minimum Experience: At least two-year experience in similar role.Job Specific Knowledge & Skills: * English language skills or the language applied in the school curriculum.
