Job Description

We are currently seeking a Payroll / HR Officer to join our team based in Dubai.

Your opportunity

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to address payroll-related queries, resolve issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes.

How you will contribute

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Payroll Processing:

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timeliness.
• Handle manual payroll processing when required.
• Collaborate with payroll providers to ensure the timely release of salaries.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure all payroll activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Generate accurate payroll reports for internal stakeholders, facilitating compliance reporting as needed.

Employee Support:

• Act as the primary contact for payroll-related queries from employees and brands.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll matters, including deductions, leave accruals, and benefits.

Audit and Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of managed services payroll processing.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and address any discrepancies or errors.
• Reconcile payroll data with HR and finance records, and Address / resolve any data alignment issues.

Time and Absence Management:

• Validate and monitor employee absences in line with brand policies.
• Ensure accurate integration of absence data into the payroll system.
• Coordinate with the HR operations team regarding unpaid leave and long-term absences.

Who you are

• Human Resources with UAE experience is a must
• Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator in the UAE
• In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll software and systems (e.g., Sky Bayan).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Payroll: 2 years (Preferred)
