IIQAF is seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Payroll Assistant. The successful candidate will be available to provide efficient and accurate processing and management of payroll related activities for our employees.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the filing of payroll documents, including pays seals and pay slips
Enter and maintain payroll information in HRIS/payroll systems
Reconcile monthly payroll discrepancies
Manage and document timesheets in accordance with labor and tax regulations
Assist with the calculation and payment of payroll deductions
Respond to queries and provide assistance to employees related to their payroll
Flexible to handle ad-hoc/special projects related to payroll
Prepare and file the necessary periodic and year-end reports to government
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee data
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Superior attention to detail
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent is preferred
Certification from CPA or AAT is a plus
