IIQAF is looking for an efficient and dynamic Payroll Assistant to join our fast-paced and progressive team. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll functions, excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities:
Handle payroll processing, including calculating earnings and deductions, providing pay statements, filing taxes, and distributing checks
Maintain payroll records
Answer queries from employees on payroll related issues
Prepare and reconcile payroll returns
Employ financial accounting procedures
Generate report on payroll related expenses and assist in budgeting
Ensure accuracy of data entry and compliance with relevant regulations
Keep updated on changes in labor laws
Resolve administrative issues
Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience
Proven working experience as a payroll assistant/coordinator
Good understanding of labor laws and payroll-related regulations
Ability to maintain organized records and generate detailed reports
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Solid understanding of arithmetic and financial concepts
Knowledge of spreadsheet software, accounting and payroll software
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
