We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our payroll team at IIQAF. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for managing, reconciling, and processing payroll data for our organization. You will also be responsible for accurately reporting all employee payroll, and maintaining accurate payroll records and filing practices. To excel in this position, you should have a strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset. Multi-tasking and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are also important for success.
Responsibilities:
Calculate, enter, and process payroll data
Oversee and calculate payroll deductions and withholdings
Evaluate and reconcile employee pay records
Compile and prepare information for tax returns
Manage and maintain employee files
Stay current with applicable state and federal laws and regulations
Anticipate and schedule payroll corrections
Generate monthly, quarterly, or annual payroll reports
Respond to payroll inquiries from employees
Handle confidential pay-related information
Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3 years of experience performing payroll functions
Working knowledge of applicable state and federal payroll regulations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly proficient in Excel and in using payroll software
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
