IIQAF is seeking an experienced and organized Payroll Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager in the timely and accurate processing of payroll data.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical individual to join our team. Ideal candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process payroll for all employees using payroll software
Reconcile payroll results against timesheets, leave records, earnings and deductions
Reconcile tax obligations and generate appropriate reports
Respond to employee inquiries and provide detailed information on payroll processes and deductions
Assist in the development and implementation of new payroll processes
Manage the upkeep of payroll records
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Payroll Assistant or relevant role
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, payroll and taxes
Knowledge of relevant laws, policies and regulations
