Duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for the whole Payroll process
• Enters and records all payroll and employee data in Tally accounting software for efficient financial management
• Prepare all the Payroll-related costs during the Budgeting process
• Update all the Payroll-related costs during the Quarterly Forecast
• Entry and follow-up of employees' deductions, loans, additions, bonuses, unpaid leaves, etc.
• Process and issue employee monthly pay slips, and ensure their distribution to the employees
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll related laws and best practices
• Posting of gratuity calculation accrual entries
• Supports in VAT submission
• Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information
• Collect, sort and check supplier invoices
• Data entry, including vouchers, accounting statements, other reports and records
• Prepare sales tax invoices/bills
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Other ad hoc responsibilities such as; adding new employees to Tally, processing and posting of salary advance requests, EOSB payment, Social security contribution payments
Requirements:
• Mandatory: Advance knowledge of Tally accounting software for efficient financial management
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in processing payroll in UAE
• Knowledge of WPS and other applicable local and regional laws
• Ability to effectively prioritize work, establish and execute plans to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and work under pressure with a strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting principles, tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools
• Be able to be relied upon in keeping confidential and sensitive payroll information
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others and reconcile differences among resources/departments
• With good communication skills
• Ability to speak and write in English is required
