:The candidate will work in partnership with various departments to ensure that payments related issues are addressed in timely manner. Any liaison required with the compliance and regulators on transaction queries should be catered with diligence.The candidate will be required to manage the project GO LIVE from operations perspective and should ensure that there is sufficient governance in managing the operational nuances. Monitor the execution of local and foreign currency payments/ receivables through payment communication channels.
Monitor the currency cut offs with various correspondents and liaise with treasury teams in case of any balance discrepancies.
Work with the Offshore teams in case of any issues / discrepancies.
Ensure compliance of the operational environment with Global Corporate Bank principles, corporate policies and local regulations
Design mapping processes, write Standard Operating Procedures and implement Service Level Agreements
Liaise with product and technology teams in case of any design gap and monitor and resolve for completion.
Publish weekly metrics in terms of volumes, discrepancies and outstanding issues.
Strong Leadership skills that will enable the candidate to collaborate with global teams.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to make independent decisions
Strong command over the English language skills - Written and Oral.
Documentation and excel skills is a must.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in core banking operations
Professional in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Technical knowledge in payment systems
Project Management skills will be preferred.
Understanding the local market will be an added advantage.
