Job Summary
As the Payments Auditor, you will report to the Finance Controller. You will be responsible for auditing payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations, and optimizing our payment processes. In addition, you will ensure that the payment processes follow the laid down SOPs related to financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Auditing
Conduct regular audits of payment transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
Verify and reconcile financial data related to customer payments, refunds, and adjustments.
Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and recommend corrective actions.
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare detailed audit reports and summaries for management.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of audit findings and financial data.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other regulatory reports as needed.
3. Process Improvement
Evaluate existing payment processes and identify areas for improvement.
Provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in payment transactions.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Identify potential risks related to payment processes and implement risk mitigation strategies.
5. Stakeholder Communication
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to the finance team and senior management.
Provide training and support to staff on payment procedures and compliance requirements.

Technical Skills:
• Financial or Salon software -- Zenoti, POS Software
MS Office Software proficiency (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Google Slides
Video conferencing software -- Zoom
Education/Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CA Intern with completed Articleship.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial auditing, with a focus on payment processes. Experience in the salon or beauty industry is a plus.
Proficiency in financial software and IT systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Other Requirements:
UAE Driving License (preferred)
