As a Paymaster, you will assume a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all colleagues. Your responsibilities will include payroll administration, compliance with labor laws, and maintaining confidentiality while upholding financial integrity.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all colleagues, including calculation of wages, deductions, and overtime.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and taxation regulations related to payroll.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in labor laws and adjust payroll processes accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records for all colleagues.
• Prepare and distribute pay stubs and statements, when needed.
• Address colleague inquiries related to payroll.
• Administer employee benefits, including insurance, pension plans, and other deductions.
• Coordinate with benefits providers and ensure accurate deductions and contributions.
• Generate payroll reports, overtime analysis, and payroll summaries.
• Provide payroll-related data and insights to the head of finance.
• Assist in internal and external payroll audits as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and records are available for audits.
• Work with payroll software and systems to streamline payroll processes.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize system functionality.
• Provide training and guidance to colleagues on payroll-related matters.
• Maintain open communication with colleagues regarding payroll inquiries.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, prioritizing guests' and colleagues' health and safety, as well as environmental conservation.
• Adhere to hotel environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
