:A Patient Relations Officer will provide excellent service to the LTC patients and their families by taking by a variety of tasks including - , providing needed information, filling out paperwork, and acting as a liaison for the LTC Unit. Responding to the needs of the patient, , recommending ways for better care of patients, acting as communicator between the patient, their families and the hospital and Liaising with government bodies regularly.
Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting accounts of problems and activities on behalf of LTC patients/families.
Carries out requirements of complaint management policy and procedure.
Actively participates in care conferences as a support person for family members, providing assistance in understanding, interpreting and organizing information for inquiry resolution.
Participates in the Patient Experience and Caregiver Communication committee related to patient and family-centered care and service excellence.
Collects information on the receiving LTC Patients admissions, documents and family status of the patients.
Daily Visit to the patients and families of LTC
Work exclusively on the Discharge planning of the patients.
Liaising with the Government bodies, Immigration, Families for the complete data/history collection of the patient.
Active involvement between Discharging and Repatriating the patients of LTC liaising with the case management team.
Updating daily on the active status of the patient to the concerned as per the requirements.
Organizes Visit tours of the hospital for VIP and VVIP patient\'s relatives.
Maintains professional standards of Patient Relation Programs.
In case of patient deaths all documental procedure commencing with the declaration of death to the handling over o the body need to be addressed.
Responsible and ensure to be updated on hospital policies and procedures related to infection control, emergency codes and safety protocols while delivering PRO duties.
Liaises with cashiers for updates on billing for all in-patients.

Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work or health related acceptable to the Director, OR ITS EQUIVALENT.
At least Two (2) year of responsible experience in Patient Relation / Medical Relation, and Social Work.
Must Speak and write Arabic.
Excellent public relations skills, people oriented individual, and excellent interpersonal relations skills.
Knowledge in computer and statistical work is recommended.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
