The Patient Relations Officer serves as liaison between patients and the hospital and is available whenever her or his assistance is needed.
Visits patients on admission and on request any time during working hours.
The Patient Relation Officer is responsible for managing the hospital's patient complaint process.
Maintains professional standards of Patient Relations Programs.
Handles and follow-up on patient complaints depending on the level of complainant.
Handles tours for visitors and guests.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Patient Relations Officer In Charge
Under the supervision of the Head of the Department, performs interpreting/transliterating services of oral or written communications between English and Arabic.
Provide interpreting/ transliterating services for patients, employees and other individuals for meetings, interviews, telephone calls, etc. including one to one and group settings.
Oversees admission for all inpatient from E.R
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work or health related acceptable to the Director, MSSD or its equivalent.
At least five (5) year of responsible experience in Patient Relations/Medical Relations, and Social Work.
Must speak and write Arabic.
Excellent public relations skills, people oriented individual, and excellent interpersonal relations skills.
Knowledge in computer and statistical work is recommended.
Holder of a valid UAE Driving license.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
