We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pathologist to join our team. As a Pathologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing disease and conducting research on the causes and treatments of various illnesses. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:- Perform gross and microscopic examinations of tissue samples to diagnose diseases and determine the appropriate course of treatment- Research various diseases and their causes, contributing to the advancement of medical science- Interpret laboratory test results and communicate findings to medical professionals- Collaborate with other medical professionals, such as doctors and surgeons, to determine the best treatment plan for patients- Stay current with advancements in pathology and continuously update knowledge and skills- Oversee the work of technicians and ensure accuracy and quality of tests and procedures- Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation of all tests and procedures performed- Participate in teaching and mentoring students and residents- Adhere to all safety and confidentiality protocolsRequirements:- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology- At least 2 years of post-residency experience in a hospital or clinical setting- Strong knowledge of pathology and laboratory techniques- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Effective communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency with computer software and systems used in pathology- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development- Valid medical license and ability to practice in the state of employmentWhy Work with Us:We offer competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits packages, and opportunities for advancement and professional development.
