On behalf of our client, a leading Tourism and Hotel Company looking for the below category 1.Pastry Man Salary : 2000/- AED (With Fixed OverTime) Work location onshore or offshore only. Accomodation,Transportation,Food,Medical insurance provided by the company Main duties Major responsibilities of a Pastry Man are: \xc2\xb7 Preparation of mousses, bavarois, Souffl\xc3\xa9, steam puddings, meringue, butter and cream icings, milk based puddings, choux paste, pancakes, waffles, chocolate and marzipan work etc. \xc2\xb7 Following production plans and proper handover of shifts. \xc2\xb7 Ensuring best hygiene practices, cleaning of storage facilities in the section. \xc2\xb7 Strictly following recipes and production schedules and ensuring proper utilization. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for proper storage and labeling procedures based on HACCP standards. \xc2\xb7 Ensures detailed cleaning processes and perfect order in the section following the established food safety standards. HSEQ \xc2\xb7 Identifying actual potential problems, near misses relating to HSEQ in the delivery of the products and services. \xc2\xb7 Identifying opportunities for improvement which may improve the service, make a job safer, improve protection of environment or enable a task to be performed more efficiently. \xc2\xb7 Controlling any process that they believe does not meet the required quality standards. \xc2\xb7 Informing their direct supervisor as soon as possible to ensure that the appropriate corrective action is taken. \xc2\xb7 Immediately report any unsafe or unhealthy condition to his line manager. \xc2\xb7 Report any incident that could affect the health or which has caused or can cause an injury to his line manager immediately. \xc2\xb7 Comply with NCTH HSEQ standards. \xc2\xb7 Comply with ISO Standards (Food Safety/Quality/Environmental/Health & Safety), OSHAD & HACCP. \xc2\xb7 Comply with Company IMS/Food Safety Policies and Procedures. \xc2\xb7 Report all HSEQ/Food Safety related concerns to HSEQ/Manager/Supervisor. Irregular duties \xc2\xb7 To attend meetings and training courses as required. \xc2\xb7 Included in these duties, you are required to perform any other reasonable tasks requested by the line manager. Educational qualifications Trade certificate in Bakery/Confectionery or apprenticeship in a recognized hotel or catering company/school certificate. Professional experience \xc2\xb7 Minimum 5 years experience in a 4/5 Star Hotel or a Catering Company of repute in the pastry section. \xc2\xb7 Should be experienced in a high-volume environment, excellent knowledge of basic food hygiene and possess the ability to read and execute recipes Work location onshore or offshore only. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
