A reputed Bakery is now looking to hire a Pastry Head Chef to lead the Pastry & Bakery section. The Chef must have full background experience in French pastry. Salary as per the experience. . Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, or baking. Two or more years' experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef. . Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts. . responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dessert production process. . Creating new recipes for desserts, entrees, or other food items based on client requests or seasonal trends. . Developing new pastry products for the menu, such as cakes, pies, tarts, or other desserts. . Ensuring that all ingredients are of high quality and are stored properly to prevent spoilage Undertake the preparation and production of all food orders as required from the menu, ensuring the delivery of correct orders and appropriate presentation and quality for each service. . Responsible for the presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene of the kitchen and your own person at all times, ensuring hygiene procedures are followed and undertaking cleaning duties in line with the cleaning Rota . Ensure food safety and hygiene, follow correct procedures for the cleansing and preparation of all raw food, date, rotate all products correctly, and check the quality and freshness of food prior to use. . Develop, maintain, and effect necessary systems, manuals, formats, procedures, spreadsheets, etc; in all aspects of kitchen operations
