Job Summary
The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods in a professional kitchen setting. This role requires attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality pastry items.
Duties
• Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other dessert items
• Decorate pastries using various techniques to ensure an appealing presentation
• Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards to maintain quality and consistency
• Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute pastry offerings for catering events or restaurant service
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
• Previous experience in a pastry or baking role preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and production techniques
• Familiarity with pastry techniques such as piping, glazing, and decorating
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and creativity when it comes to pastry presentation
• Understanding of food safety standards and procedures
• Customer service skills to interact with guests when necessary

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
