Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pastry Cook / Commis Pastry with formal culinary education and a passion for pastry arts. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced pastry chefs to produce high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods. This is a unique opportunity to apply your culinary education in a real-world, professional kitchen while learning from seasoned chefs.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and production of various pastry items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure all pastry products are prepared and presented in accordance with established quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen and storage areas.
• Support senior pastry chefs in daily tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar role or culinary training preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality pastry products.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
