We are looking to enhance our team with a talented Pastry Chef who specializes in French pastries, cakes, and intricate desserts. : As the Pastry Chef at Tita Yara, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of our dessert menu, focusing on French pastries and complex desserts that delight our guests. Your expertise will contribute to the overall dining experience, providing visually stunning and delicious endings to our meals. Responsibilities:
Develop and innovate recipes for French and middle eastern pastries, cakes, and complex desserts that align with the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s culinary standards.
Prepare a wide range of high-quality desserts, ensuring each item meets visual and taste standards.
Manage the pastry section of the kitchen, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and ordering supplies.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on pastry techniques and new recipes.
Collaborate with the culinary team to pair desserts with menu items, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness in the pastry section.
Stay updated on current pastry trends and incorporate modern techniques into the dessert offerings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, with a strong background in French and middle eastern pastry techniques and dessert creation.
Advanced knowledge of baking, pastry arts, and dessert decoration.
Creative ability to craft visually appealing and delicious desserts.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage a team.
Formal training at a culinary school with a specialization in pastry arts is preferred.
Passion for pastry arts with a continuous drive to improve and innovate.
