IQAF is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team and create delicious pastries and desserts for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the bakery\xe2\x80\x99s high standards in taste, quality, and presentation are maintained. Utilizing your expertise and creativity, you will manage all aspects of the production operations in our bakery and design new desserts to add to our ever-growing repertoire. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sweet treats and who can bring positive energy and enthusiasm to the role.
Responsibilities:
Developing and creating a wide range of new and innovative desserts and pastry recipes.
Prepare pastries, cakes, and other desserts according to recipes and customer preferences.
Ensure all dishes are prepared in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Estimate food requirements, order necessary supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Monitor food production schedules and timelines.
Manage a team of staff and monitor their work.
Observe proper safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor customer feedback and adjust recipes as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
Proven experience in a pastry chef or relevant role.
Knowledge of modern baking trends and techniques.
Expertise in working with a variety of ingredients.
Highly creative with a great attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to delegate duties to staff.
