We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Turkish Language Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of Turkish language and culture. This position involves creating engaging lesson plans, providing instruction to students of varying proficiency levels, and assessing student progress. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans to teach Turkish language and culture to students.
- Conduct classes in-person, online, or in a hybrid format as needed.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Assess students\xe2\x80\x99 progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Prepare and assign homework, projects, and other assignments.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Communicate with students and parents (if applicable) regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Education, Turkish Language, Linguistics, or a related field. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
- Teaching certification or relevant qualification in language instruction.
- Proven experience teaching Turkish, preferably at various proficiency levels.
- Proficient in Turkish and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools.
- Flexible and adaptable to different teaching environments and schedules.
- Experience teaching in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of Turkish culture, history, and traditions.
- Experience with curriculum development.
- Part-time position with flexible hours.
- Classes may be scheduled during weekdays, evenings, or weekends based on student needs
