The Role

Guildhall is recruiting a Parts Controller for our client, a leading MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) manufacturing company based in Sharjah. The successful candidate will oversee the management of parts inventory, ensuring efficient stock levels, implementing the 5S system, and tracking parts movement. This is an excellent opportunity for a parts controller with parts sales experience and a solid background in inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: o Inventory Management: Maintain the availability of parts by ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, and inventory tracking. o 5S Implementation: Lead and implement the 5S system (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) within the parts storage area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. o Stock Levels: Define and monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, ensuring that parts are readily available for production needs while avoiding overstocking. o Stock Movement Tracking: Track slow and fast-moving parts on a quarterly basis, analyzing trends to optimize stock replenishment and ordering schedules. o Parts Sales: Handle parts sales, manage customer orders, and liaise with clients regarding parts availability, quotes, and deliveries. o Regular Audits: Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy. o Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and service teams to ensure the timely supply of parts and support manufacturing operations. o Reporting: Provide regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues related to parts availability or sales performance.



Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. o Certification in inventory management or a related field is a plus. o Proven experience in parts control, inventory management, or parts sales, ideally within the MEWP or manufacturing sector. o Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining the 5S system within a warehouse or store environment. o Ability to define and manage minimum and maximum stock levels, with experience tracking slow and fast-moving inventory. o Hands-on experience in parts sales, including customer order management and negotiating prices. o A valid UAE driving license is required for this role. o Familiarity with inventory management software or systems. o Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage inventory accurately and resolve discrepancies efficiently. o Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams. o Strong problem-solving skills to address stock issues or parts shortages promptly.
