Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in automotive parts and customer service? We are seeking a Parts Advisor to assist customers and technicians in selecting the right parts, managing inventory, and supporting sales operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining high customer satisfaction and optimizing parts availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Purpose:
Ensure efficient parts counter sales operations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
Provide technical guidance and support to customers and technicians.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Greet customers and technicians, gathering detailed information on their parts requirements.
Advise on part numbers, prices, and availability using EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) and DMS (Dealer Management System).
Provide expert advice on parts usage, care, and maintenance, including specialized products and services.
Prepare accurate parts estimates and quotations.
Ensure compliance with credit terms and credit sales procedures for the Parts Dealers Network.
Learn and apply the Parts Return Policy, Warranty Policy, and Delivery Timelines for customers and technicians.
Generate and release the picking list based on customer approval.
Verify and confirm picked parts against the picking list before processing.
Perform goods movement transactions for all picked parts.
Ensure customer/technician acknowledgment of picked parts and maintain accurate filing.
Prepare and issue Parts Delivery Orders and Sales Invoices.
Track and monitor sales performance vs. budget.
Prepare T-cards for ordering VOR (Vehicle Off Road) non-available parts.
Assist in accessories display design and maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Keep accurate sales records for inventory tracking and reporting.
Operate computerized inventory systems for record-keeping and reordering.
Prepare and follow up on the Loss Sales Report.
Communicate and coordinate with the Ordering Section to ensure timely procurement and delivery of requested parts.
Follow up on unclaimed parts ordered by customers or workshops.
Perform other duties as requested by the Parts Sales Supervisor or Procurement & Stores Manager.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Skills & Abilities:
Fluency in English (Arabic preferred).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to use EPC, DMS, and inventory management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
Good understanding of automotive parts sales and warehouse operations.
