Are you a dedicated sales professional with previous experience in a competitive sales role, preferably in the events or hospitality industry? The right candidate must have experience selling and managing brand partnerships for digital platforms and understand the entire sales cycle from RFP through renewal. This position is well suited to an individual with the energy and passion to thrive in a fast-past, dynamic start-up environment, while making a direct impact on its success.
We're looking for an experienced Partnerships Sales Manager who can bring on new clients as well as play a valuable role in building strong relationships. You'll be working closely with our Operations Manager to help meet our sales targets and grow this business.
Responsibilities:
• Lead generation and management to generate new client base using existing and potential networks.
• Relationship management with existing customers to ensure client satisfaction and retention
• Staying up-to-date regarding details of our platform offerings and USPs with the ability to confidently relay these.
• Meeting sales targets aligned with company objectives.
• Creating and presenting impressive proposals
• Create and update client reports and records.
• Analyse and present sales performance metrics on a regular basis
• Set up, maintain, and track invoices.
• Reporting on the status of accounts and transactions
• Handle any incoming communication from prospective clients.
• Take note of clients' suggestions or complaints and forward them to relevant teams.
• Attend training sessions to help better communication and with clients.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of proven experience in a Sales, Partnerships, Business Development role, preferably in the Events or Hospitality industry
• Hands on experience in sales and relationship management with an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
• Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce, Hubspot etc) and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
• Skilled negotiator with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable time management and organization skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
• A valid driving license.
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
• Arabic speaking would be an added advantage
