Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
Legal Research: Conduct research on relevant legal issues, industry regulations, and precedents to support legal decisions and strategies.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Assist in due diligence processes for M&A transactions, including gathering and organizing legal documents and conducting preliminary assessments.
Corporate Governance: Support in maintaining corporate records, preparing board meeting materials, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Document Management: Maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
Legal Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's operations, and assist in ensuring compliance.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Certification as a paralegal is a plus
Proven experience 3-5 working as a paralegal Officer or in a similar legal support role, in Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial agreements, and legal terminology
Familiarity with the additive manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with copyright law and sales contracts will be an added advantage.
