Senior Cook - Pakistani & Afghani Cuisine

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook specializing in Pakistani and Afghani cuisines to join our growing culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise while expanding your skillset to include Chinese cuisine.

Key Responsibilities :

Execute authentic Pakistani and Afghani recipes with consistent quality and taste

Prepare and cook traditional dishes including:

Pakistani specialties (Biryani, Karahi, Nihari)

Afghani delicacies (Kabuli Pulao, Mantu, Qorma)

Maintain organized mise en place and efficient kitchen operations

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards

Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow

Participate in menu development and special promotions

Learn and incorporate Chinese cooking techniques into daily operations

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Pakistani and Afghani cuisine

Demonstrated knowledge of traditional spice blends and cooking techniques

Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg

Basic English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants

Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine

Food handling certification

Experience with kitchen management systems
